To mark the anniversary of the Revocation of the Edict of Nantes 18th October 1685 and in memory of the large numbers of Huguenot refugees that came here in the seventeenth century the Bishop of London, Richard Chartres presented a mulberry tree to Christ Church, Spitalfields.
